February Member of the Month

Greater Fellowship Missionary During the Month of February, Greater Fellowship would like to shine the spotlight on Sis. Keisha Hicks. Keisha has been a member of the church since as long as she can remember. She has recently accepted the position of Financial Secretary for the Church beginning January of 2012. Financial Secretary of the Church is, without doubt, a huge task. Essentially the financial wellbeing of the church will rest on her shoulders. When asked about her goals for this new position, Keisha humbly mentions that she wishes to move the Church forward with the same respectability and transparency established by her predecessor (Carol Patton).

When not fulfilling her duties at the Church, Keisha enjoys shopping and relaxing in her spare time. However, spare time is hard to come by being both a wife and mother of a 14 month old baby boy who is most recently learning how to walk.

Prior to becoming the Financial Secretary of the Church, mother of a bouncing baby boy & wife to Gary Hicks, Keisha studied at the University of Cincinnati. It was there she earned a degree in Clinical Lavatory Science with a minor in African American Studies. Keisha is also a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, which boasts itself as being Cincinnati’s most prestigious college prep school.

When asked why she decided to stay at Greater Fellowship over another church, Keisha’s response was, “Pastor Hawkins made feel welcomed as a young member…He preached sermons on topics that were appropriate for what was going on in my life.”

Greater Fellowship would like to publicly thank Keisha for answering the call to service. We look forward to her bringing new thought to the way things are done within the church. Keisha’s dedication & commitment to Greater Fellowship is greatly appreciated by all. We thank you in advance for your efforts this upcoming year and as always love you without end.
